Administrative Assistant (Boston)
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to work on recruiting and other diverse HR projects. In this position, you are charged with helping the company acquire its most valuable asset: PEOPLE.
The right candidate will be a professional person who likes dealing with data and likes working in a fun environment. You should be detail-oriented; exhibit strong organizational skills; strong communication and customer service skills; highly productive; able to juggle multiple tasks; and must be computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
This is position is approximately 30-35 hours per week and is considered full time, benefits eligible.
Essential responsibilities and duties include:
* Data entry of highly detailed information into multiple databases.
* Manage calendar of and provide direct administrative support to department manager.
* Process background checks and other pre-hire paperwork.
* Processing employee leave requests and generating leave reports.
* Copying, filing and faxing documents.
* Files and maintains employment records for future references.
* Creating reports and assembling binders on a regular basis.
* Creating purchase orders.
* Initiates contact with possible qualified candidates for specific job openings.
* Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants.
* Performs reference checks on applicants.
* Reviewing data for accuracy and following up with individuals when issues arise.
* Serving as a backup to answer phones and manage the reception desk.
* Assists HR department with other human resources areas such as benefits administration, employee relations and activities planning, and employee customer service.

Preferred skills:
