Chief Financial Officer (Boston)

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations and develop a team of financial specialists dedicated to our mission and driven to achieve success.

Essential Responsibilities:
* Manage all financial functions of the company, including general accounting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
* Lead, motivate, mentor, and develop Finance team
* Prepare budgets, income statements, and other financial reports
* Develop innovative tools to analyze and manage financial side of the business
* Monitor and develop programs to improve financial performance
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal finance laws
* Develop working relationship with all department heads to provide support, advice and business suggestions.
* Assess changes in the business environment; anticipate problems and develop solutions in a timely fashion.
* Evaluate strategic impact of different revenue streams, firm expansion, mergers and acquisitions, corporate development activities, and vendor relationships

Qualifications:
* 7-10 years experience in senior finance role
* Ability to think “big picture” yet also to be "hands-on"
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
* Masters of Science in Finance, Accounting, or MBA preferred
* Desire to motivate and develop direct reports
