John McQuillan serves as the Chairman, President and CEO of Triumvirate Environmental, advisor to: teaching hospitals, Fortune 500 high-tech companies, and universities. Additionally, Mr. McQuillan serves on the board of directors of Shawmut Design and Construction, the billion dollar construction leader. Mr. McQuillan also serves as advisor to the pre-IPO companies, StyleFeeder, and Not Your Average Joe's, as well as for the not-for-profit corporations Perkins School for the Blind, Just-a-Start House, and Year Up, recognized in 2009 by President Barack Obama for its proven track record in workforce development. Mr. McQuillan presently serves as trustee for Bowdoin College and as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Boston College High School.
Additionally, McQuillan serves on the corporate council of the Environmental League of Massachusetts and is a director emeritus of the New England Environmental Business Council. Mr. McQuillan holds a double major A.B. in biochemistry, and government & legal studies from Bowdoin College and a master's degree in public administration from Harvard University. In his leisure time, Mr. McQuillan enjoys science, technology and the arts as well as service to the community, reading, natural history, alpine skiing, New England sports teams and travel. He lives in Boston with his wife Elizabeth and daughter Tess.
