This awareness-level course complies with the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA)'s
training requirements for the Bloodborne Pathogens standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).
This course is broken up into 3 modules:
1. General Information
2. Employee Requirements
3. Employer Requirements
Module 1 introduces the course and covers the history of bloodborne pathogens and explains what they are.
Module 2 discusses universal precautions, exposure control, and container requirements.
Module 3 covers employer requirements and the exposure control plan.
The course is presented in the form of an animated video, with numerous interactions to keep you engaged. The course should take between 30 and 45 minutes to complete.
When you are finished with the content, you will take an assessment test to certify you have completed this course.
