ILTA (Independent Liquid Terminal Association) represents 80 companies and partnerships that operate bulk liquid storage terminals in 41 countries. These facilities are located in ports and along rivers, canals and pipelines. They serve the vital economic purpose of transferring liquid products from one transportation mode to another. Products handled by our members include crude oil, petroleum products and a wide variety of chemicals, as well as ethanol, biodiesel, vegetable oils, molasses and fertilizers.
ILTA is composed solely of corporate members, unlike many other trade associations that have individual members. ILTA members fall into one of three categories. Two of those categories are for companies in the terminal business, including for hire and international terminals and many of our current customers (NuStar Energy, Citgo Petroleum, Colonial Pipeline, Hess, IMTT, Kinder Morgan, Liquid Transfer Terminals, Motiva Enterprises, Sunoco and Westway Terminals. The third category is Supplier Members. Triumvirate is listed as a supplier member along with many companies that we work in conjunction with (Allentech, Baker Corp and Matrix) and those that are customers (Groundwater Environmental Services and Conestoga Rovers). All of ILTA's member share the belief that a unified association is in their best interest. As an association, we enable our members to pool their resources, to more effectively monitor and help to shape government laws and regulations, and to foster educational, training, and networking opportunities for the entire industry.
