Triumvirate Environmental to Host Industrial Roundtable in Newton, MA

What:
Doug Graham, Triumvirate's senior environmental health and safety consultant and external training manager, will discuss the shipment of hazardous materials, regulations including US DOT, IATA, FMCSA, and ICAO, and specific measure to take to limit company liability.
This event will provide the opportunity to learn more about the following:
- The often misunderstood regulatory definition of a "hazardous material" in the transportation world
- Proper shipping of electronics, batteries, and instruments for repair, recycling, or return
- Key differences between preparation for ground versus air transport
- Training requirements for shipping & receiving personnel that are often overlooked
- Inspection and enforcement triggers
- Shipping paperwork preparation in accordance with regulatory and carrier requirements (e.g., FedEx requirements for using new software)
