Managers often find that mandatory EHS and compliance trainings are poorly attended and not well retained by their workers. Dull instructors, long hours in training sessions, and basic content can leave employees feeling like they would do anything to get out of a long day—or days—of training. This can spell operational disaster when, without engaging and effective trainings, your organization becomes noncompliant and unsafe. This doesn't have to be the case, though, and in fact, an instructor-led training can actually be memorable, successful, and worthwhile for all who attend—if the right elements are in place.
