A lab space presents unique industrial hygiene challenges. In fact, the nature of these spaces often means that chemical safety risks abound—even at a small scale. One of these often overlooked threats is the inhalation of airborne contaminants, which leads to a host of EHS complexities. A chemical inventory management solution can be a good first step—but to truly and fully mitigate these and other risks, an expansive industrial hygiene program is necessary.
