Air Permitting and Testing

Triumvirate’s technical services group reviewed sampling methods approved by both the MADEP and the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to determine if an alternative method was available.  Through extensive research of similar-type facilities in the US, Triumvirate located several other companies in the United States that have similar types of control equipment.

This research included review of the EPA database on types of control technologies, Tile V Permitted facilities and Control Technologies. Through this research, Triumvirate determined that other studies had been completed for the EPA on this type equipment that was similar to our client’s. Triumvirate developed a report that detailed all of the information that was collected and stated the similarities between these and the client's equipment to establish a baseline for the cyclone efficiency rating which if not accepted would have required the stack testing.
