OSHA recently released its preliminary results of the top 10 most frequently cited workplace health and safety violations for 2019. The “Fall Protection – General Requirements” standard tops the list yet again – for the ninth consecutive year.
Here are the results (preliminary data as of August 15, 2019):
1. Fall Protection – General Requirements (standard 1926.501): 6,010 violations
2. Hazard Communication (standard 1910.1200): 3,671 violations
10. Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment – Eye and Face Protection (standard 1926.102): 1,411 violations
