Triumvirate is a Silver Sponsor for CSHEMA 2013
Triumvirate will attend the Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Management Association’s (CSHEMA) annual conference this month as a Silver Sponsor. We are proud to continue providing safety and compliance education to campus safety, laboratory, facilities, and environmental health & safety (EH&S) personnel located on college and university campuses across the nation.
This year, we will be presenting two technical sessions during the July 12-17 conference. Our Director of Environmental Health & Safety Services, Sandra Perry, will discuss the challenges of small school staffing, and present a case study in which a small, but rapidly growing, university in Maine used a compliance assessment to identify gaps, deficiencies, and liabilities. Speaking with the University of New England’s EH&S Director Ron Souza, Sandy will discuss the data and information that higher education institutions nationwide can use to justify staffing needs.
Additionally, we will be hosting a panel discussion around the presence of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in building materials. Speakers will advise EH&S personnel as to the steps required and recommended to be taken. Kim Tisa, a regional PCB coordinator with the Environmental Protection Association (EPA) will provide her expert perspective on this issue, which is steadily gaining regulatory awareness and enforcement for schools throughout the country.
Triumvirate has partnered with CSHEMA for over a decade to contribute to the organization’s mission to empower and improve the EH&S profession in campus environments. We strive to provide industry knowledge and applicable solutions for campus-based environmental health & safety professionals. Triumvirate’s mission for higher education is to help EH&S departments in schools throughout the country to improve compliance as well as protect researchers in laboratories, staff throughout all facilities, and environmental safety across the campus.
If you'll be in Orlando for the conference, please stop by our booth to say hello, or join one of our technical sessions.
